Ichi the Witch Story Overview
In this world, witches gain magic by hunting it down. Deep in a forest, the terrifying king of magic and the strongest witch are locked in a deadly fight.
Then a young boy steps into the battle. His name is Ichi, and he is just a hunter, not a witch at all. Yet he has the power to turn the magical world upside down. The story grows into a magic-hunting fantasy in which a boy who should not be able to use magic changes the rules.
Main Characters and Setting
Ichi is a wild, straightforward hunter whose instincts come from the forest rather than any school of magic. The strongest witch gives the story its link to the wider magical world. The setting treats magic almost like prey, which makes the hunting theme central to the plot.
